SS 2025: TINSELTOWN

Operating at the intersection of couture and semi-couture, Hollywood’s golden age meets timeless cultural legacies. Intricate craftsmanship takes center stage through each plissé, drape and silhouette.

This season, Khosrov draws inspiration from iconic cinematic moments, Armenian heritage, and the elegance of Italian artistry, blending them into a collection that celebrates both the past and the future.

Hollywood Glamour Reimagined

Los Angeles, the origin of the brand, sets the scene for the drama that is explored within the collection.

Step into a world where the suspense of Tippi Hedren in The Birds, the elegance of Grace Kelly in To Catch a Thief, and the allure of Marilyn Monroe’s final shots with Bert Stern, collide together.

Feathers or leaves? Khosrov’s designs allow for a sense of wondering. Drawing inspiration from Hitchcock’s films, the collection plays with the visual duality between beast and botanical.

Liz Taylor’s iconic Life magazine shot by Philippe Halsman is reconceptualized as a mini-dress through draped and pleated techniques.

Silhouettes of Hollywoods "Golden Era" and expertly deconstructed glamour, pay homage to these stars and icons of a bygone era.

A Tribute to Cultural Roots

At the heart of Khosrov’s designs lies a reverence for his Armenian culture. Draped costume and traditional garb inspire elegant silhouettes that speak to both heritage and modernity.

The delicate beauty of Armenian lace which adorns many homes is woven into the collection. Alongside it, the zigzag motif of Artsakh’s flag has been custom pointelled and knit, representing the loss of our indigenous lands.

With a nod to the Zeytoun Resistance of 1914, (Olive Resistance), olives and their leaves make a bold appearance, not only as a symbol of our history but as a universal emblem calling for peace.

Italian Elegance & Botanical Whimsy

Khosrov takes another journey through Renaissance Florence, evoking the beauty of Botticelli’s flowing drapes and botanical fantasies.

Sculptural pieces, reminiscent of Renaissance art, are enhanced with playful touches of whimsy.

The draped gowns act as a nod to the powerful Medici family. They are ever present in the historic city of Florence, where Khosrov also divides his time.

Raw hems and exposed bra padding add a contemporary edge to the timeless sophistication, marrying this roughness with an effortless Italian grace.

Much like Botticelli's work, symbolism is scattered throughout the collection. Evident by the botanical, historical, and meticulous technical work involved, this season showcases Khosrov's ability to tell his own version of an origin story.

The myriad of techniques that the atelier has continued to explore from past seasons, is further perfected by Khosrov and his team in Italy. By blending sordid fantasies derived from these rich points of reference along with Italian craftsmanship, this collection is bolder and more focused than ever.
